Have your model printed
You have found or made a model, but you do not have a printer. At MorphiCustom you send it to us and we print it in PETG. You get a quote within 48 hours and prints start at 8.00 euro.
Three ways to send us your model
1. Paste a link
Found a model on a 3D model site? Copy the link to the model page and paste it into the request form. You do not have to download the file yourself. Tell us which version you want if the model has several, and at what size. Not sure where to look? See where to find good models.
2. Upload your file
We accept STL, OBJ, 3MF and ZIP, up to 50 MB per file. You can add a PNG or JPG as a reference photo. Do you have another format? Send us a message and we will see what is possible.
3. Describe your idea
No file and no link? Describe what you are looking for and add a photo or a sketch. We will find a suitable model or adapt an existing one. If you want something entirely new, read how having a 3D design made works with us.
What happens next
- 1. You submit your request and choose colour, quantity, infill and quality.
- 2. We run your model through Bambu Studio, the slicer of our printers, and look at the orientation on the print bed, the support material and the print time.
- 3. You get a quote by e-mail within 48 hours. It stays valid for 14 days.
- 4. If you agree, you pay with iDEAL and we start the printer.
- 5. Your print is ready within 2 to 4 working days. Pick-up in The Hague is free, delivery is via PostNL.
What it costs
0.19 euro per gram of PETG, with a minimum of 8.00 euro per order, including 21 percent VAT. If you have an STL file, you can drag it into the calculator on the pricing page and see an estimate right away, based on the real volume of your model. That happens in your browser. Your file is not uploaded.
How to supply a file that prints well
- Check the scale. Models are read in millimetres. A model that was exported in centimetres or inches comes out far too small or far too large.
- Make sure the model is closed. Holes in the surface mean the slicer cannot tell what is inside and what is outside.
- Watch out for thin parts. Very thin walls and paper-thin details either do not print at all or come out fragile.
- Think about overhangs. Parts that stick out far need support. That costs extra material and leaves marks on the surface.
- Put one model per file. If you want several parts, supply them separately with the quantity you need.
Not sure whether your model is printable? Ask us to check it beforehand. We do that free of charge, so you know before you pay anything.
The mistakes we see most often
- A model exported in the wrong unit, so the size is off
- A model that is larger than the print bed. Our print volume is 350 x 320 x 325 millimetres per part. We print larger objects in sections and join them together; read more about printing large objects.
- Solid models that are much heavier than they need to be, and therefore more expensive
- A link to a collection page instead of to the model itself
- No size given, even though the model can be printed in several sizes
Who is responsible for what?
If you supply your own file, we print exactly what you send us. If the print fails because of a fault in the design itself, for example walls that are too thin, impossible overhangs, a wrong scale or a model that is not closed, that falls outside our responsibility. If something goes wrong in our print process, we put it right at no cost to you, with a free reprint or a refund. You choose.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to download the file myself first?
No. A link to the model page is enough. Uploading the file is fine too, of course.
Can the calculator read any file?
The calculator works with STL and 3MF files, so also with what comes out of Bambu Studio or PrusaSlicer. If you have OBJ or ZIP, just submit your request. You will then get a quote with the exact price within 48 hours.
What happens to my file?
In the calculator your file stays in your browser and nothing is uploaded. If you submit a request, we use your file only to make your print.
Can I have several models printed at once?
Yes. Combine them in one request and you get one quote. From 5 units of the same model you also get the volume discount.
